Holding Space, is a non profit organization in Sacramento that seeks to improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of persons of African descent by providing a wide range of services that are holistic, culturally competent, trauma informed and strength based. 

The mood for Holding Space was created to evoke acknowledgement of pain/trauma persons of African descent may have experienced; but even more so, a feeling of warmth, breath and light which one might receive as they heal, unfold and become liberated as their most fully expressed self.  The African textures and patterns where brought together in a modern way to provide a sense of  feeling rooted in ancestral legacy.

Every element was created as an ode to Holding Spaces' commitment to helping others  "come home to themselves".
